Zuihoden is a representative tourist spot in Sendai and the residence of Date Masamune, the samurai who built the foundation of Sendai. You will enjoy Zuihoden at night, which is not usually open to the public, with the guide of the Date Bushotai Hospitality Group from Sendai. You will walk through the illuminated approach to the shrine and unravel the story of the Date clan in a fantastic space. This tour will be specially open to the public to the public. After viewing the main hall, you will enjoy a performance of Japanese musical instruments in a solemn atmosphere, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the Japanese space. At the end of the tour, you will also receive the Zuihoden seal. In autumn, you can hear the sounds of insects amid the colorful autumn leaves, and in winter, you can enjoy the sparkling lights in the clear air. 1. You can rent out Zuihoden for a private tour after closing time.
2. You will have the opportunity to experience a special time as the grounds are lit up, which is not usually the case.
3. You will be able to see a special public viewing of the wooden statue of Date Masamune, the founder of the Date clan, which is held only a few times a year.
4. In the solemn, illuminated atmosphere, you can listen to the performance of the bamboo flute and reflect on the eternal history of the Date clan.
5. Receive a special stamp from Zuihoden Shrine
6. You will experience the history of Sendai Castle Town, which has been built by the Date clan through the efforts of Date Masamune and the Date Busho-tai.
